ABOUT BEER, DEVON
Brooksyde holiday home is located in one of the hidden gems of Devon. Beer is a traditional working fishing village, ideally located approx 15 mins from Lyme Regis, River Cottage Head Quarters and Sidmouth.
Beer's shingle beach is home to a small fleet of fishing boats, some of which can be chartered for private fishing trips. The beach is surrounded by beautiful white cliffs which provide shelter from the wind, making it the perfect spot for those just wanting to soak up some sun.
Beer's various restaurants and pubs cater for all tastes but especially anyone with a desire for fresh seafood. You'll also find an array of other fresh local produce on offer including some delightful ales & ciders.
For those wanting to eat in, Brooksyde's fully fitted kitchen is complete with everything you may need to prepare an outstanding supper. Fresh ingredients are available outside the front door with the superb deli located just over the road or buy fresh crab or the catch of the day from the beach side fishmongers. You will not find fresher.
